Who We Are

I am a multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial operator and investor, with a passion for sustainability and collective wellbeing.

Bio:

  • Started her career at Morgan Stanley Investment Banking Division, working on large scale M&A transactions, global offerings and IPOs.

  • Worked in financial planning for a luxury brand, and then launched the Japanese subsidiary of a Silicon Valley drone startup and became its Japan representative.

  • From 2016, Eriko has been active as a venture capitalist. Worked as Director of the Investment Group at Mistletoe, Inc. (Taizo Son’s social impact fund) and General Partner of global VC Fresco Capital. Most recently, participated in founding Japan's first ESG-focused venture capital firm MPower Partners, as Managing Director.

  • Eriko has also served as a judge and lecturer for numerous programs sponsored by large corporations, government agencies, and municipalities aimed to foster diverse entrepreneurs, including women, as well as programs related to social impact, environment, and sustainability.

  • Eriko also runs MIKO Holistic Wellness, an innovative next generation wellbeing community, and is a mother of two children.

  • Raised in the United States, Canada, the Middle East and Japan.

  • Graduated from McGill University with a BA in Economics (Honors) and a minor in Mathematics and International Development Studies. While in school, worked for a World Bank affiliated non-profit organization in Kenya, Africa.
